The ceramics town of Mettlach is characterized by the company Villeroy & Boch and invites you to experience the “Villeroy & Boch World” with over 2000 square metersfrom the design invention to the manufacturing process to fascinating product worlds and subsequent porcelain shopping. Downstream on the Saar River, the beautiful historic wine town of Saarburg, first mentioned in 964 AD, awaits you. There and in general an the Saar, wine has been grown for more than 2000 years. The most important grape variety on the steep slate slopes along the Saar valley is Riesling, which finds optimal growing conditions here. Due to the exceptional climatic and geological conditions, the best Riesling wines in Germany are produced here. A variety of wineries invite you to visit, linger and shop.
The district town Merzig impresses with its architecture from 8 centuries, a charming landscape with premium hiking trails and excellent bike paths, the unique Wolfspark Werner Freund in the Kammerforst, the Bietzener Heilquelle with sculptures “Stones and Plants by the Water”, enjoyable gastronomy as well as the adventure pool with its water, thermal, sauna and massage worlds.
Between the two marinas Mettlach and Merzig, the most famous river bend of the Saarland, the Saarschleife near Orscholz, is located in the immediate vicinity. There are many secluded places to linger, an adventure forest, treetop path, climbing park and much more.

Main deck
The main deck (28 sqm) includes salon with living/dining, 3 sqm bathroom and 8 sqm covered outdoor area with lounge as well as outdoor shower.
The design and furnishings of the “Joylife Boats” are based on clear purism with a feel-good factor. Floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows with a room height of 2.4 m offer an immediate all-round view of the water and the land. For the furnishings, plain elements in black, white and soft shades of cream were combined with lots of light wood, creating a warm touch. Tableware and kitchen equipment are of the finest, nothing is missing and thus everything has been thought of for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
On the upper deck, access via stairs from the main deck, a dreamlike sleeping suite with double bed and panoramic view invites you for 2 persons. In the salon/living and separated from the bedroom suite, there is another double bed (sofa bed) for 2 persons. And if desired, an additional double bed can be set up in the living room for 2 people, so that there is enough space for a whole family.
Upper deck
Our sun terrace on the upper deck, modern and functionally designed, offers plenty of space and great views of water and land for sun-seekers and bon vivants.
Let your soul dangle here, breathe in the healthy air of the Saarland and let yourself be enchanted by the breathtaking view of the surrounding nature while enjoying a cool beer or a good glass of wine.
Because this nature on the Saar still has a lot of intact nature. With the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park, the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park and the Bliesgau UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, three major protected areas are waiting to be discovered.
This 18 sqm oasis for unforgettable relaxation and well-being, you can reach via the bow side stairs from the main deck. There you will find deck chairs and umbrella, lounge area and gas grill.
