Booking information
Terms of payment
- Deposit of 50% within 10 days after booking confirmation
- Final payment of 50% is due 30 days before the start of the rental period
- Deposit for rental Joylife Floating Homes € 150 payable by bank transfer 30 days before the start of the rental period. In the event of damage or an accident, you as a guest remain financially liable up to this amount to cover the associated repair costs.
- Recommendation of a travel cancellation insurance, e.g. www. reiseversicherung.de
General travel information
- Takeover of the Joylife Boat every Saturday at the Marina of Joylife Boats, Saaruferstr. 34, at the canoe home (entrance junction B51/Bahnhofstraße), 66693 Mettlach or the marina in the marina, 66663 Merzig
- Drop off of the Joylife Boat Saturday at 3:00 pm
- Return of the Joylife Boat Saturday at 10.00 a.m.
- Early before taking over the Joylife Boat you will receive a checklist for the luggage, tourism documents of the Saarland and the Saar, etc.
- Individual advice on the design of social program, if desired
- Handover of the Joylife Boat and short introduction to the house technology
- Please note that smoking is absolutely prohibited on board except on the outer deck and upper deck

- Captain’s manual by means of IPad
- Handover of the Joylife Boat with introduction to home technology
- Crockery, glasses, cutlery, bed linen, kitchen towels and cleaning cloths

- Taxe Saarland Card per person (Free visit of over 100 attractions including free use of bus & train)
- Insurance for possible damage to the Joylife Boat, such as stay at the mooring, fire, average, damage to third parties, wreck removal costs, burglary, theft or vandalism.

The rental price does not include
- Final cleaning & disinfection € 195
- Damage caused to the boat and inventory during your vacation
- Diesel consumption during your houseboat vacation with € 2,00 per liter and handling and shore power purchase at mooring/port (will be settled upon return)
