From a photo shoot with the bridal couple in unique surroundings, a free wedding ceremony on deck, a family celebration, a hen or stag party, a surprise gift with an adventure cruise to a “Tiny Wedding”, everything is possible.

Likewise, a birthday party can be anything but boring! With a celebration on the Joylife Boats a birthday becomes a legend. Glide silently over the water, experience the soothing feeling of the water, encounter nature up close and a dinner by romantic candlelight – such unforgettable moments and more await one with the comfortable houseboat on the Saar and Moselle.

We will be happy to make you an individual offer based on the following principles and your requirements.
Because your event should be an unforgettable experience.

 

♦ 1/2 day (4 hours) or 1 day (8 hours) or by arrangement

Either moored in the marinas of Mettlach, Saarschleife or Merzig an der Saar

♦ Or with an experienced skipper from marinas in Mettlach, Saarschleife or Merzig on the Saar

♦ Or from/to port/berth of your choice on the Saar or Moselle at extra charge

♦ If desired with catering and/or lifestyle offer on board

♦ Per houseboat with 54 sqm total area

♦ Reclining up to a maximum of 20 people on indoor and outdoor decksdeck

♦ Cruising up to a maximum of 12 people with skipper

You will receive an individual offer based on your requirements for the event you want (recumbent or sailing with skipper).

Your Concierge Service

For an unforgettable experience…

We offer a concierge service, in German “Veranstaltungs-Service”, on request. This includes the following:

  • Arrangement and securing of catering according to your wishes and cost budget on site
  • Arrangement of supporting program items tailored to your event (e.g. Joylife Boat Lifestyle offer)
  • Securing the infrastructure for your event

Booking information

Terms of payment
  • Deposit for rent of 50% within 10 days after order confirmation
  • Final payment for rent of 50% are due 30 days before the beginning of the rental period
  • For all additional concierge services booked, separate payment conditions apply in each case from Joylife Boat or according to the service providers
General travel information
  • Bording at Joylife Boats Marina, Saaruferstr. 34, at the canoe home (entrance crossing B51/Bahnhofstraße), 66693 Mettlach – or Marina in the marina, 66663 MerzigOrt– by arrangement
  • Approx. 350 m near the marina in Mettlach or directly in Marina Merzig are sufficient parking spaces available.
  • Please note that smoking is absolutely prohibited on board, except on the outer deck and upper deck
Included in the rental price
  • Rental price Joylife Boat
  • 8 bistro tables with white covers and 2 lounge tables
  • Tables/chairs as needed for a maximum of 20 people
  • Crockery, glasses, cutlery, etc. for 6 people (more to be provided by catering and for a rental fee)
  • Dish and kitchen towels and cleaning cloths
  • Dishwashing utensils for dishwasher and washing by hand
  • Garbage bags
  • 10 capsules Nespresso coffee machine
  • Special toilet paper in connection with on-board sewage treatment plant
  • Grill with gas cartridge
  • Final cleaning
  • Insurance for possible damage to the Joylife Boat, such as stay at the mooring, fire, average, damage to third parties, wreck removal costs, burglary, theft or vandalism.
  • Free parking
The rental price does not include
  • Damage caused to the boat and inventory during your event
  • Diesel consumption during your event with € 2,00 per liter and handling (will be charged after the event)
  • Electricity supply in ports and berths (will be charged after the event)
  • Mooring fees in ports (will be settled after the event)
