Booking information
Terms of payment
- Deposit of 50% within 10 days after booking confirmation
- Final payment of 50% is due 30 days before the start of the rental period
- Deposit for rental Joylife Boats € 1.250 payable by bank transfer 30 days before the start of the rental period. In the event of damage or an accident, you as a guest remain financially liable up to this amount to cover the associated repair costs. We therefore recommend that you take out deposit insurance when hiring Joylife Boats.
- If you would like to insure your deposit, travel cancellation or trip interruption costs, your liability as skipper of the boat, foreign travel health or accident insurance, you can do so with our insurance partner Pantaenius. General travel information
- Pick-up of the Joylife Boat daily or by appointment at the Joylife Boats base station, Saaruferstr. 34, at the canoe home (entrance junction B51/Bahnhofstraße), 66693 Mettlach or the marina in the marina, 66663 Merzig
- Return of the Joylife Boat daily at 3.00 pm
- Return of the Joylife Boat daily at 3 p.m.
- Early before taking over the Joylife Boat you will receive a checklist for the luggage, tourism documents of the Saarland and the Saar, etc.
- Individual advice on the design of the supporting program, if desired, e.g. lifestyle offer
- Fancy a full fridge at the start of your vacation? We are happy to offer you this from the Wiesenhofer farm store. Ask us about the offer.
- Handover of the Joylife Boat and short introduction to the house technology (on the water)
- Instruction on Joylife Boats when used for driving (theory & practice) including instruction sheet for behavior in locks, final information on route advice and explanation of safety equipment and breakdown service.
- Please note that smoking is absolutely prohibited on board except on the outer deck and upper deck

- Insurance for possible damage to the Joylife Boat, such as stay at the mooring, fire, average, damage to third parties, wreck removal costs, burglary, theft or vandalism.

- Final cleaning & disinfection € 195
- Damage caused to the boat and inventory during your houseboat vacation
- Diesel consumption during your houseboat vacation with € 2,00 per liter and handling (will be settled upon return from the houseboat)

- Mooring fees in ports of call during your houseboat vacation
